Birthday concert Nelson Mandela
Nelson Mandela, will mark the occasion of his 90th birthday in a great event in London’s Hyde Park. The birthday party concert will feature celebrities including Bill Clinton, and Oprah Winfrey.
Music will be provided by (amongst others) Amy Winehouse, Queen + Paul Rodgers, Annie Lennox, Simple Minds, Razorlight, Andrea and Sharon Corr, Eddy Grant, Leona Lewis, the Sugababes, Dame Shirley Bassey, Jamelia, Italian singer Zucchero, Spanish band Amaral, Johnny Clegg, Sipho Mabuse, Loyiso, Kurt Darren.
The birthday party will take place on Friday 27th June at Hyde Park, and will be limited to 46,664 tickets. 46664 was Mandela’s prisoner number at Robben Island.
