Hurricane Festival Scheessel Germany
The Hurricane festival is set to be held once again this year in Germany, and the music television channel VIVA is set to host this world renowned event which has been sponsored by the music channel for over a decade now. The festival did not gain the name Hurricane until 1997. Prior to that, the event was held in Sheebel, where Hurricane is currently held, and was begun in 1973, with over fifty-two thousand attendees in the first year.
Now, Hurricane tickets are sold in limited numbers ranging from twenty-thousand to sixty-thousand attendees, who can see live performances of bands and musicians at Eichenring, a motorcycle racetrack.
